Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Programme Manager to join our team in Niger Office, Nigeria

The Programme Manager will work closly with the state, support the coordination and timely delivery of all project activities. The job holder will interract with governement actors, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation partners, community representatives and structure who should be involved in key decision making and implmentation.S/he will take the lead  in liasing with other TA partners and government at all levels in stregthening the support of health systems for community Health Influencers, Promoters and Services (CHIPS) programme.

The Job holder will steer project implementation through the State Minstry of Health (SMoH) and State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA) ensuring value for money. S/he will provide oversight for programme management, project team, its leadership, support to State Minstry of Health (SMoH) and its implementating partners.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, International Development or related discipline
  • Senior management experience on large size health projects in Nigeria
  • A minimium of 7 years working experience in international projects
  • Experience working on maternal and child health programmens, including community health delivery
  • A minimium of 3 years experience management team
  • Experience in project and financial management with proven track record of timely submission of high quality project deliverables
  • Experience managing donor grants or contracts such as BMGF,DFID, GFATM or USAID/PMI
