Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Data Analysis Specialist to join our team in the Abuja office of the SMC project.

The Data Analyst will support data analysis, sample size calculations, study design and the epidemiology interpretation of programme and project results. The post-holder will also further develop and support the project's secondary analyses and documentation of learning through analyses of data sets addressing key disease control questions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A postgraduate degree in statistics or public health with focus on epidemiology/bio-statistics or demograghy;
  • Minimum of 5-years experience working in data management and epidemiology in Nigeria within government, an international organization or research instituion;
  • Experience in developing data analysis plans and methods, data cleaning and validation;
  • Experience in reseacrh design and implementation;
  • Excellent statistical analysis skills including familiairty with software such as STATA, CS Pro, Atlas ti, NVIVO;
  • Significant experience in the development and management of databases, data entry systems (PDA or phine-based) and softwares;
  • Knowledge and experience of M&E tools and methods in the international development and global health sector;
